The Context
The product already carried an authentic story. The opportunity was to turn that craftsmanship into a recognizable local voice.
From Italy to Dubai, one scoop at a time.
Samuele’s brings the tradition of Italian artisanal gelato into one of the world’s most diverse food markets. With the founder at the center of the story, the brand combines personal craft, daily production and a product designed to create an immediate emotional response. BLY worked on how that story could travel across social content, seasonal communication, new-product moments and local delivery—preserving its Italian personality while making it feel native to everyday life in Dubai.

The Constraint
The brand needed to feel unmistakably Italian without becoming nostalgic, generic or disconnected from how Dubai discovers and orders food.
Dubai’s dessert market is highly visual, seasonal and geographically fragmented. Customers may encounter a brand through a short video, a delivery application, an influencer, a location launch or a campaign aimed at their neighborhood. Samuele’s therefore needed more than attractive product photographs. It required a communication direction that could consistently express origin and craftsmanship while adapting to new flavors, store moments, seasonal occasions and delivery areas across the city.

The Communication System
BLY developed a flexible narrative around four recurring ideas: origin, craft, product moments and local relevance.
The work included brand and campaign copy, social-media concepts, seasonal communication and creative directions for short-form video. Product launches and new-location moments were supported with locally adaptable messaging, while neighborhood targeting and delivery-platform communication helped connect the brand to the areas it served. Content formats were designed to move between everyday storytelling and larger campaign moments without losing the founder-led personality at the center of Samuele’s.

The Impact
The outcome was a clearer and more adaptable brand voice—capable of making Italian craftsmanship relevant across Dubai’s fast-moving food culture.
Rather than relying on disconnected promotional posts, Samuele’s gained a communication framework that could support recurring content, seasonal creativity, product launches and geographically relevant messaging. The brand’s Italian roots remained the emotional anchor, while the creative direction gave each campaign space to feel timely and local. The project created a stronger foundation for future content and growth activity without turning an artisanal founder-led brand into a generic delivery concept.
